Alien invasion
Alien invasion is a popular concept in movies. Basically, the aliens destroy our cities using advanced weapons. That said, reality is a lot less dramatic won't you say. Look at the 20-30 million illegal alien invasion in america. Maybe they might look different, wear different clothes, and speak a different language even. However, life goes on. People fear those that are different than them and are comfortable with those who are the same. That is why hear of alien abductions of children on board a UFO and many more sagas. It speaks to a deep rooted fear of the unknown that lives in us.
