Corvette museum

I went by the corvette museum. Fact is that it reminds us we still build a few iconic cars. This one is very iconic. Sadly, the parent company GM will not survive. It lasted for over one hundred years. That is a long life for a company. Pretty soon, the only place you will see a corvette is in a museum.

Stocks down again

Stock market was down yesterday and today down again. That is typical for the down jones industrial average. It seems to we slowly sliding in a downward direction as we get more economic news.

Barium oxide bar magnets are full of power. They are full of win. Also they are inexpensive. Perhaps I can create a magnet for money.

Glen Beck going blind

Sadly, Glen Beck is going blind now. Macular dystrophy is destroying Glenn Beck's vision. This disease is not rare. My grand mother had it and lost her sight in one eye. It is in fact quite common. However, that does not decrease the pain. It is hard to live when you cannot drive a car. Perhaps we need to start working on finding a cure.

religion under siege

It truly is a case of religion under siege. A college student is told she must renounce Christianity. That or she will be expelled. Well, that is interesting because I believe we once had at one time freedom of religion, but those days are long gone.

Media unfair to Hitler?

Folks, this is no hoax - Oliver Stone says media unfair to hitler because they are controlled by jews. Hey, you can't make this stuff up. Mel, it is time to move over. Here is a real hater - with a big H even. Well, I guess Mr. Stone forgot all about the second world war. Yeah, BTW, we won. The score is america one, nazis zero. Also, guess he forgot that millions died - including many americans.

North Korea says war

North Korea threatens war again. This is not good news. People are now in a state of panic. North Korea is pointing missiles at the South Korean capital of seoul and news is not good out of pyongyang. US sent the USS George Washington aircraft carrier. It seems that things are heating up.

Free UFO

Lowes has a build and grow a Free UFO clinic going on now. It is free for kids so bring em. This sounds like a lot of fun for the trouble teens like ours. Hope they enjoy. Still, perhaps Halloween would be better when children can dress up. Yeah, like a man from mars.

Neil Barofsky, head of TARP, says economy is on life support now. That our gov is spending more money to keep banks prop up. Folks, this is not good news. Just the other day we were hearing about an economic recover. It seems were are not of the woods yet, but hopefully soon.

Redbox vs Netflix

In what could be the final nail in block busters coffin, RedBox is developing a streaming service. This is done to compete with Netflix which is suffering from a postage increase. It seems things at the red box are popping. Gradually, Redbox is increasing in locations and size. Meanwhile, BB is closing down stores in a desperate attempt to survive. Netflix is expanding in Canada now. Clicks are crushing bricks yet again.

Depression

A psychological depression is often cause by a depression in our economy. This is stronger than the more mild recession. People out of work feel sad due to loss of house, job, and income. They often have no money. This makes them feel of no use. Mental situations can get quite bad if the person is out of work for many years.

morning person is success

They say morning people have more success. Hmmm, this is true and then some. Most CEOs are hard at work in the early morning. In contrast, the average BUM is not a morning person. Perhaps, it is just me. I feel that Benjamin Franklin was right when he said - early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.

Here are seven biggest microsoft flops ever. Hey, yes it is seven.

Google search engine

Already too much regulation for me. Folks, our government should no regulate Google search engine. We are strangling innovation with all the red tape from our gov. People need to breathe free, also companies.

no camera zone

There is a disturbing trend now. Actually, in many parts of the oil spill authorities do not allow cameras. Police are afraid of the power of pics. They are creating a no camera zone. Sadly, 911 laws are used invoking national security to prevent cameras from taking pictures of the spill which is bigger than many can imagine. Not sure why the news is not talking about this no camera zone ban on images.

small banks struggle

Sadly, things are not getting better, but are getting worse. Small banks are struggling under the TARP. Fact is that they have debts they cannot repay. People need to realize that our economy is poor. It is far worse than we are led to believe in main stream media and too much trouble to paper over. The false rally will end soon.

jobless recovery?

They claim it is a jobless recovery. Well, my question is how can you have a recovery without new jobs and I do not believe they have an answer. Yeah, they claim everything is fine, but that is not the reality we see. Not only are things bad with our jobless recovery, but they are getting far worse.

take cover

Market forecast is take cover. This is good advice I will say. Problems will be max mega. Basically, because the market will experience catastrophic collapse soon. That will be one experience. I see a market reset coming. Folks, we cannot go on like this with multi trillion dollar deficits each year.

Netflix crushes Blockbuster

Netflix is putting the final new nails in the Blockbuster coffin by streaming movies. This means you do not even have to walk to the mail box anymore. Folks, those drives to the few remaing BB stores will become less frequent as broadband internet takes over. I predict that in a few months block buster will go chapter 11 bankruptcy due to declining revenue. Those people who are now using red box will start downloading over the internet using Netflix to save money.

MELtdown

Folks, there appear a MELtdown in Mel Gibson as he is heard hurling obscenities and ravings in racism. What can we say. This is the same man. MELtdown hates blacks, latinos, and jews. His next picture could have him playing a nazi spy.

Thursday, July 8, 2010

sony nex

It stands for next generation the sony nex. Well, I think the nex3 is ol skool and then some. Folks, it is 720p, not the new 1080i full HD movie. Also, it is small but the quality is not equiv. Tested against regular SLR it does not compare.

dino dow

The DOWN jones will soon become very EXTINCT! It has in it a bunch of dinosaur companies. Like IBMsaurus that still makes mainframe computers that almost no one uses. These dino firms will join circuit city in that big ticker in the next universe. Block Buster is almost a member now. I am surprise that sears still survives. Who still shops at sears. Trex technology will soon pass away.

Tar Balls in Texas

There are now tar balls in Texas thanks to BP and its evil oil men. QUESTION, can we tar and feather the oil men? Not sure of the answer. Oil spill now affects all the gulf states and soon more. The execs and their evil minions are not in prison. It is great to live in america.

OK, Google is blocking certain searches, yes is. This means what we get is filtered and then some. To the free flow of information we do not have access. Hmmm, not sure why this is.
