Townhall Trouble

Townhall meetings are turning into trouble for democrats. They have to explain why they gave billions to banksters, but not a penny for the poor. Of course the SOP - standard operating procedure of blame game is not working for them. Well, you see, a lot of jobless joes are out of work and do not believe there is a recovery.

What is a hoax?

Well, a hoax is a trick. For example, a fake museum piece, or a fraud like a "rorex reprica" that you see selling for a fraction of the price of the real thing. Hoaxes are based on being similar to the real thing, but like counterfeits they are not genuine.

Abstract, barnacles at low tide

High tides on east coast baffle experts. Do not believe that global warming is the reason. What could it be? Those brave men of science need to do some more research.

american empire

US is a shadow of its former self. It is like we no longer talk about going to the moon. Like that is science fiction and never happen. Today we focus on war. Sadly, there is little talk about going to mars, or even back to the moon. Yet, 40 years ago Apollo 11 launched from Cape Kennedy and the world watched.

It seems like that was something from a story book filled with fairy tales. Global conflicts are no our daily news. There is little talk about moon bases or lunar exploration. Almost like 1969 was a hoax.

California works on budget deal

OK gov arnold says state is close to budget deal. Do you believe him? Actually, it seems that we have a problem, no jobs means no sales tax, income tax and property tax. CA needs some jobs.

power of magnets

Electric motor rotor isolated on white photo

Most electric motors are a combination of a permanent magnets and an electromagnet. The magnetic flux created by an electric current causes the head to spin fast. This is what creates the work for us. Without magnets our world would look very different. OK one of my favorites is the HDR electromagnet.

The phenomenon of the moving rocks at Death Valley Race Track Playa. The setting sun casts a shadow over the near by rock, still basking the mountains in the background in a warm glow photo
OK mapping unemployment in america leads me to one conclusion - California is toast. The numbers are no lie. Take a look at the out of work jobless map.

can we save GM?

This dinosaur should be extinct. GM's idea of green was a hybrid hummer, AND YET many wonder if this dodo bird of the business world can be save. It may not be possible to save GM as things are now.

Mostly because the company is now too small to survive.....
