UK economy is revise down instead of up. There is less spending by consumers. OK so this took place after taxes rose. People now have less money. What we expect is a global economic slow down next year. Expect people to be saving money. Mostly, there will be less participation by consumers.

UK economy drops out of world's top ten. Why is this happening? OK you have cost of living that is super expensive. Ultra high taxes on persons. But, the worst for UK economy is outsourcing. How can an economy thrive, when all the high tech jobs are being shipped out to India? There is no incentive to go to college and study because jobs are being sent overseas.
