College is a waste of your money. Most jobs are being sent over seas or out source. Maybe it is better to be a plumber than a programmer. Sadly, few people will tell you the truth about what is going on. Please do what you want, but remember this one. Few people understand that execs are morons. They can only hit the fire button and scream out source.
