Slowly, it goes down over the years. For example, look at plasma screens. Initially they were very expensive.
Let us look at a different time periods comparison. What do we see. Mostly, that technology make items more powerful and smaller in size. For example, look at computers and how they grow in power. Also, they tend to slim down as they say.
