If a disease were to wipe out all the chickens, then where would we get eggs? It is my belief that we would use ducks or guineas. Probably ducks would take over. Well, that said, it would not be any fun at the grocery. The six dollars a dozen cheapest duck eggs I have seen. In contrast those of chickens are 99 cents a dozen in the grocery. Future price of eggs would be much higher than now.
