There is another word for hoax - it is phony. I like the word because it reminds me of old ma bell. That was a very PHONEy company. It had a lot of rules and regulations and these big black phones.
Well, now our telephones are small and sleek like the size of credit cards. They are not as solid as before, they feel phony.
