Greenwashing our future?

After a lot of talk about global warming, we now see that few wind mills are going up. Also, few solar cells are on roof tops. The green move is almost dead.

In fact, we face dark days for green power. There is little money or incentive to go green. Giant corporation once accuse of "greenwashing" are now firing workers and spending little if any money to go green.

The citigroup circus is in town starring ringmaster Vikram Pandit. Clown prince Pandit has seen Citigroup go from a market cap of 266 billion in Jan 2007 to only 16 now. This has got to be a man who can spin gold into straw.

GM was in troubloe last year, but now are worse

It seems that GM is the gang that cannot tell the truth. Finally, now we see that they are falling apart. Wagoner was too optimistic, but the truth is even worse than even many bears predicted. Sales this year are about half of last.

Grandfather Paradox

There are those who claim that time travel is impossible because of the Grandfather Paradox. The idea is that if you could time travel then you could go back and off your grandpa. Thus they claim that a time machine is a hoax due to the paradox. However, what if when you go back you go to an alternate timeline?

You see a man very close to gramps, but not exactly the same, as in sliders. This would allow you to travel in the 4th dimension both forward and back - because there is no Grandfather Paradox.

reduce heating costs

OK one way to reduce heating costs is to have one room in the house that is hot and all the other are cold. Make this hot room a small room, not the master bedroom. It can be your work room or office. At night use a sleeping bad to stay warm in your bed room.
