BYTEing to survive

Few people can get the message that Trex is a hoax because science journals have high PR and alt sci has low PR. The importance of high search engine rankings is they can contribute to increased Internet traffic to the blog. This is because Internet visitors that use Google, Yahoo and other search engines to find data about Trex will more likely visit pages that appear on the top half of the first page of the search results than they are to visit websites which appear lower down the list.

High search engine rankings essentially act as free advertisement for a blog or website. This is because many website users rely on popular search engines to assist them in finding useful information on the Internet. The search engines apply complex rules to see websites and rank them accordingly for their search terms. As a result Internet users put a great deal of value on the search results produced and trust these results to lead them to the best sites relevant to the keywords they specified in the search.

Websites appearing on the top first page of the results will likely get the more traffic. So dinohoax is buried at the bottom.
