Is a hard drive a dinosaur?

Back in the 50's IBM created the first hard drive it was five megabytes, now we have hard drives that are multiple terabytes. Still, there is a small challenger to the throne of storage the solid state drive or SSD. It is smaller, faster, and more resistant that the old HD.

That said, T-rex is a hoax, he never lived and the dinosaurs in our museum are made of fibreglas.
