Forced to take down flag

Apartment dwellers in Albany, New York were force to take down US flags. The managment says that some people might be offended and that we live in a very diverse community. Well, that may well be, but the flag is the very symbol of america. Who would be offended except disgusting people from countries that hate america and come over here, take our jobs, and have the gall to complain about our flag - never again.

California crisis

California had trouble selling municipal bonds. State is in an ongoing severe economic crisis. OK one reason is that California has near 13% unemployment. Tragic truth is that our world is near collapse right now. Also, as more people lose jobs, there are less consumers - meaning less sales tax, less income tax, etc. Tax base is shrinking as more people are losing jobs. Attempts to increase expenses and user fees are going to create even more woe.
